Pupils greatly enjoy school and have good attitudes to their learning and all aspects of school life. They behave well and are very aware of how to stay safe. The school provides a very caring and secure place to learn. Pupils, parents and carers agree.

Welcome to the Barrow Hill Learning Journey…

To achieve a refreshed and inspirational curriculum we have established links with the very best; the British Film Institute, National Theatre, British Council and The Literacy Tree consultancy as well as continuing to build on our long established links with The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace.

We continue strengthening our specialist emphasis in music, our track record of outstanding attainment in Maths, weekly Art and Spanish classes for each child in each year, a great emphasis on Writing and have developed our PE provision in the same way. Importantly, our school is supported strongly by a highly committed and supportive parent community: we value this greatly.
